Design and Lifestyle Duo
Since appearing on The Block in 2016, Julia and Sasha have become household names in the design landscape. Praised for their glamorous style, they took to the task with nous and presented one of the most stunning interiors to date. Their Old Hollywood aesthetic enamored viewers and inspired a new wave of appreciation for the golden era.
Julia and Sasha were honoured to be the first lesbian couple to compete on the show. Their unique blend of honesty and humour provided a wonderful insight into same-sex relationships. Moreover, it spawned some of the best one-liners in Australian reality television history.
With two renovations under their belt and another in the pipeline, they’re widely considered professional flippers. They sold their first property to a celebrity couple in 2015 and look forward to tackling their latest project in March. The duo will design and manage the build of Little Willow, a 100-year-old Edwardian on the renowned Rippon Lea Estate. In their signature style, they will carry out a lust-worthy makeover and document their progress on the popular blog, Interiors Addict.
Concurrently they are working on the launch of The Abbey Collective, a design firm offering styling advice, editorial collaborations, and project management. With qualifications in PR, Julia will extend her services to include copywriting for their personal blog and a variety of publications. Examples of previous work can be found in Inside Out and Adore Home Magazine.
Julia and Sasha feel fortunate to have worked closely with many brands including Freedom Kitchens, Gaggenau, Suzuki, and Telstra. They’re thrilled at the prospect of developing additional partnerships as they continue to forge their path in the design and lifestyle sphere.
