Louise Keats is an inspiring Food and Nutrition Writer, Cookbook Author, Magazine Columnist, Presenter and co-founder of Vive Active and Vive Sculpt. The talented author has published five cookbooks, including Sweet Nourish, Something for Everyone and Cooking for Your Baby and Toddler. Louise is passionate about cooking with whole food ingredients for optimal health and wellbeing.

Louise has two regular nutrition columns in Australia’s leading food publication, Taste Magazine. Her Healthy Showdown feature compares ingredients to help readers make the healthiest choice each month, and her Naughty & Nice feature (with Chef James Viles of Biota Dining), teaches home cooks how to make lighter, more nutritious versions of their favourite recipes.

As a graduate of the prestigious cooking school, Le Cordon Bleu, Louise also has postgraduate nutrition qualifications from Deakin University. Her research interests include infant and toddler nutrition, flavour learning and optimal nutrition for adults.

Louise likes to share bright and fun Instagram posts to her growing 39k followers including freshly-made recipes, cute animals, Vive fitness inspiration and beautiful smiling selfies.

Coming from one of Australia’s foremost food families – her grandmother is Australia’s best-loved cookery expert, Margaret Fulton – Louise’s family life has always revolved around cooking and eating well. Louise is now continuing in the family tradition and bringing her food heritage to a new generation … with a healthy twist.
