Janette Bendle makes her 60s look more like a launch than a wind-down, living proof that later life can be bolder, brighter, and a whole lot more interesting. A Pilates instructor and functional movement coach for more than twenty-five years, Janette has built her world around wellbeing, curiosity and saying yes. 

From her studio on the Mornington Peninsula, Janette teaches the way she lives: full of fun, courage, and just enough mischief to keep everyone smiling. She’s not the shouty, motivational-poster type. Janette leads by example. One class, one conversation, one moment of “you’ve got this” at a time. You don’t keep a studio running for decades by accident - her years in business are proof that Janette has a gift for building community.

In 2025, she’ll bring that same spark to Australia’s first season of The Golden Bachelor, sharing her contagious energy with a new audience. For Janette, this experience was never about chasing reinvention. But more so about staying open to new adventures, new people, and unexpected opportunities.
