Therese Lum is a Food Creative, Caker and TV Personality whose charm and daring desserts won Australia over during her time on 2021 MasterChef. 

Sharing simple dessert recipes and tips - often inspired by her heritage, love for pastry, and seasonal produce Therese has come to particularly love creating stunning desserts over the years and finds joy in learning new techniques to make beautiful, complex and delicious creations.

Through her cooking talent Therese has worked with a wide range of food & lifestyle brands, most notables she has held strong relationships with Vicinity Centres, Cobram Estate, Myer, Heinz, Circulon, Connoissuer Ice Cream, Sunsweet, Maxwell & Williams, just to name a few.

Therese is also a certified chartered accountant and business analyst, but her fulltime focus is her passion for flexing her creative muscles in the kitchen. Her business brain coupled with her creative flare has enabled her to create Slice of TLC (Therese Lum Cakes) a bespoke celebration cakes brand.

With a mix of Burmese, Taiwanese and Chinese heritage, Therese is no stranger to creating a delicate balance of flavours that come with a kick, whether that’s for savoury delights or sweet treats. Time and time again proving she has the special ingredient that leaves people wanting more.
