Veronica King AKA ‘builderswife’, creates the kind of home building, renovation and styling content you can save for inspo and rely on.

What makes Veronica's posts so refreshingly relatable is that she’s not the builder, or the architect or the interior designer with an endless budget. She’s literally the builder’s wife, the other half of the project duo, the one who curates dreamy Pinterest boards, makes last-minute room layout changes, and asks her husband to test 27 shades of white paint before making a decision. In essence, she is her audience and that’s why they engage.

Seven years ago, while pregnant with twins, Veronica and her husband Mark were building their first family home. She began documenting the project - sharing the thinking behind decisions, the inevitable challenges and lessons she encountered along the way - and unexpectedly grew one of Australia’s most engaged building and renovation communities.

Now with three children and another family home build in the books, along with numerous other home build and reno projects she’s worked on with Mark, Veronica continues to share her experience as a builder’s wife with her mini-room-tour Reels, ‘save for later’ insider tips and project updates.

What sets Veronica apart is that she approaches building and renovating from the homeowner's perspective. While much of the industry showcases finished projects, Veronica focuses on the decisions behind them. The layout changes, the material selections, the budget considerations, the upgrades worth spending on, and the choices she’d make next time.
